From my point of view, Barcelona is the ideal destination to spend a bank holiday. As well as this, if you fly from Girona, you will be able to find cheap flights with Ryanair.

However, it is also important to remember that during the bank holiday, shops and supermarkets remain closed. Concerning this, it would be wise to get all your shopping done over the weekend, that’s including food.
