Cycle the Crowley Ridge National Scenic Parkway

One of the most popular activities in Arkansas is riding along the beautiful Crowley’s Ridge National Scenic Parkway. The road stretches for nearly 200 miles across several states. One can find a number of different things to see while on the road, and a number of those great things can be found in the area around the small town of Forrest City. Those who come to the city will be able to find quite a few interesting things to see and do. If you have an interest in architecture, you are going to want to see such attractions as the First United Methodist Church and the Mann House. Both of these are great examples of the Classical – Revival style of architecture, and both are listed on the National Historic Register. When you visit the center of town, you will be able to see an impressive mural that depicts how the Native Americans viewed the coming of the railroad. You will also want to visit Stuart Springs, the beautiful 16-acre park with natural spring water. A trip along Crowley’s Ridge National Scenic Parkway will offer many great opportunities for sightseeing, including many different attractions in Forrest City. There is something for everyone.
