Green Roof Inn - Carriacou, Grenada

The Green Roof Inn is a small guesthouse on the island of Carriacou in Grenada, West Indies. It has five rooms for guests, and a waterfront restaurant & bar. Positioned on a hillside, it affords spectacular views of the Caribbean from most everywhere on the property.

The Inn is owned by Åsa and Jonas who originally came to Carriacou from Sweden in 1993. In 1997, starting with the old building that stood on the property, they spent the next year and a half transforming it into a unique guesthouse inspired by traditional Scandinavian and West Indian design.

Jonas is a trained chef who runs the restaurant while Åsa manages the Inn. With help from a small staff they "strive to provide personal comfort for their guests while bringing them a genuine Caribbean experience".

Carriacou itself is a small island for those who want to relax. Instead of a fast pace and intense night-life, you'll find a peaceful atmosphere, and warm, friendly people. Enjoy unspoiled scenery and tranquil days on its deserted beaches & nearby keys.

"For a truly unforgettable vacation with no worries, come visit Carriacou and stay at Green Roof Inn!"

The island also offers a magnificent underwater world, perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling. Dive off the beach or from convenient dive boats nearby at Carriacou Silver Diving.

This PADI 5* Gold Palm IDC center is located right at the beachfront and offers diving & dive-courses to customers of all ages.
